Here's an idea. There are some board posts on here, especially in Game Parlor, that are extremely long, causing people to have to hit page down about a zillion times to reach the end of the topic if they don't want to read everything. I was thinking maybe we could divide posts into pages once they reach a certain length, maybe one page per 50 posts to a topic or something like that. Do you think this'd be possible?

Well that would require a refresh of the scree. Shrugs, if you want to read it, what's wrong with hitting page down azillienn times as you said. If it interests you then that's what you'll do. The fast way is to remember the last post you read then use the inserft f7 command and jump to tha tperson's name and start from there.

I don't hit page down, I hit bottom of page. And, before commenting on a post, you really should read other people's responses so you don't just repeat what has already been said.

Pretty much as Becky says. lol. If you want to get to the bottom of a topic, why not just navigate to the bottom of the page and then shift tab back up threw the links? No offense but, using page down would seem to be a ludicrous way of tackling the page! hehehehe. "CTRL End" is your friend.

I think it should stay as it is. While I get how splitting a discussion into pages might be useful, you'd still end up having to find and read thru many posts at times anyway. *smile* If you're wanting to read a discussion that is too long but not the whole thing, I'd just go to the bottom of the page and press page up a couple of times and start from there, or you could try to stop reading at a point where you could remember part of a certain comment someone made so you could later do a page search on that word or phrase, or start at the top of the page and press page down 'til you find a line you haven't read if you didn't get that far reading it from the top. But if you're just wanting to get to the end of a page, just pres Control End and then arrow or shift tab to the last post as others have mentioned. *smile*

I don't have a problem with the way it is now. Like others have said, I just go to the bottom of the page, and either arrow up or shift tab to the last post I read.

I think it should be an option. Many forums have many options which this site seems to lack.

If you do that, it'd best be an option.
